Bisqa, the card game of bids and tricks
Each round, you get a few cards and say how many tricks you will win. Then you play, and every trick off your bid, too many or too few, costs you a life. The last player still alive wins.
Free, nothing to install, in your browser. An Android app is also available. The game itself speaks English, French, Arabic and Tunisian.
The game
Bisqa is a card game for 2 to 8 players, born from card nights among friends in Tunisia. It belongs to the same family as Oh Hell: what matters is not winning many tricks, but winning exactly as many as you announced. Bisqa adds its own twists: a 40-card Tunisian deck, a fixed order of suits instead of a trump, no obligation to follow suit, an ace of hearts that can win or lose any trick, and a hidden round where you play a card you cannot see.
The rules in one minute
- The bid. At the start of each round, everyone says how many tricks they expect to win, from 0 up to the number of cards in hand. The last bidder may not make the total equal to the number of cards.
- The trick. Everyone plays one card, any card. The strongest wins: suits rank ♥ > ♦ > ♣ > ♠, then values K > Q > J > 7 > 6 > … > 2 > ace.
- Lives. Everyone starts with 3 to 5 lives. At the end of the round, you lose one life per trick of difference between your bid and your result.
- The ace of hearts. When you play it, you choose: high, it beats every card; low, it loses to every card.
- The hidden round. Rounds go 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 cards. With one card, you see everyone's card except your own.

- Leaderboard and collection: wins count towards the leaderboard, and the daily gift unlocks card backs and table cloths.
